Policy
Whilst
timber is recognised as the most environmentally
acceptable material in modern construction, Prestoplan
remains focused on all issues of environmental
importance.
By constantly monitoring the environmental impact of each and every
process, Prestoplan is committed to optimising the use of materials
and resources and reducing waste to an absolute minimum.
Prestoplan recognises the importance of our environment and is committed to the implementation and maintenance of a supply chain policy that includes a Chain of Custody System, that meets the requirements of Annex 4 “Chain of Custody of Forest Based Products” for PEFC registration. Where PEFC products are not available we will source from other recognised environmentally sound sources such as FSC and SFI certified suppliers.
We are certified by BMTrada under the PEFC Chain of Custody Scheme, Certificate number BMT-PEFC-0431
