Materials:
Environmental Impact of Materials "Mat 1" (12 credits)
- Credits are awarded in accordance with the BRE Green Guide. The table below provides the most common scores for the Prestoplan system.
- Prestoplan is accredited under ISO14001 Environmental Management Standard.
Responsible Sourcing of Materials - Building Elements "Mat 2" (4 credits)
- All of our materials are responsibly sourced. Prestoplan is chain of custody certified for PEFC materials.
Waste:
Construction Site Waste Management "Was 2" (1 credit)
Prestoplan is ISO14001 registered, we reduce site waste using the following systems:
- Assembling pre-fabricated components before delivery.
- Our erectors use re-usable steel props instead of timber props which just end up in the skip.
- Our transport subcontractor recovers "dunnage bearers" for re-use.
- We operate a recycling policy for all our offices and factories.

Global Warming Potential of Insulants "Pol 1" (1 credit)
- PresWall Plus insulation is rated as Zero Global Warming Potential
Health & Wellbeing:
Sound Insulation "Hea 2" (3 credits)
- Credits available from the Robust Details applicable to the Prestoplan system.
Lifetime Homes "Hea 4" ( 4 credits)
- Prestoplan frames can be designed to comply with lifetime homes standards.
